Southern Kitchen, initially a vertical company at Cox Media Group prior to transitioning to an event and commerce platform with Gatehouse Media Group, brought curated cook and serve ware together with content and supporting recipes, all on one platform without having to read the narrative before finding the recipe. During the transition from CMG to GHM I advanced from Senior/Lead Graphic Designer to Art Director, as I managed designers who assisted with marketing assets through other GHM properties, a junior designer and worked with developers and merchandising vendors and their creative teams. My primary creative responsibilities included infographic design/research/copywriting and distribution, email design, print media design, catalog design and maintenance, digital display ads and other supporting graphics to create comprehensive campaigns.
