What I Do
I build brands and ecommerce systems that connect strategy, design, and operations — so the work doesn't just look right, it moves revenue.

Who is Amanda Pharis?

I start every project the same way: figure out what the business actually needs to happen, then work backward into brand, design, and content. Strategy first, decoration never. I care about clarity more than cleverness: if a customer has to think twice about what to do next, the design hasn't done its job yet. The goal isn't to make things look considered. It's to make things work, and look considered as a side effect.
-
Clarity over decoration. A brand should make the next step obvious, not just look nice doing it.
Systems over one-offs. I build things that hold up the tenth time you use them, not just the first.
Judgment over automation. I use AI and process to move faster — never as a replacement for thinking.
Production reality over concept art. If it can't ship, print, load, or scale, it's not done yet.

I've spent 12+ years moving between brand strategy, ecommerce design, and the operational systems underneath both — usually because someone needed all three connected and no one else was doing it. That's taken me from magazine and print work at Southern Kitchen, to lifecycle and ecommerce systems at KEH Camera, to building and launching new ecommerce verticals at companies like Pratt Industries, to my current work at CustomBoxes.io connecting web, lifecycle, AI tooling, and operations into one growth system. The through-line: I like the parts of a business other people skip past: the handoffs, the fine print, the "wait, how does this actually work" questions, because that's usually where the real problems (and the real leverage) are.
